AC Cum Electrician - Marine/ Vessel Maintenance

*Key Responsibilities* * Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain marine air-conditioning systems. * Service split AC units, package units, and marine AC systems. * Diagnose and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, and fan motors. * Carry out refrigerant charging, leak testing, vacuuming, pressure testing, and system commissioning. * Perform copper pipe brazing and replacement of AC components. * Troubleshoot AC faults, including: * Refrigerant gas leakage * Compressor failure * Fan motor defects * Thermostat/control faults * Blocked condenser coils * Poor cooling performance * Electrical faults in AC systems * Troubleshoot and repair vessel electrical systems, including: * Lighting circuits * Motor starters * Breakers * Contactors * Relays * Control panels * Pumps and fans * Electrical wiring and sensors * Inspect and troubleshoot the *Main Switch Board (MSB)*, including: * Circuit breakers * Busbars * Meters * Protection relays * Control circuits * Shore power connections * Generator supply systems * Assist with MSB inspection, cleaning, tightening, fault finding, and minor repairs. * Support troubleshooting of basic automation and control systems, including: * PLC-based panels * Control wiring * Sensors * Alarms * Safety circuits * Monitoring systems * …
