*Job Overview* We are looking for an experienced *Contract Electrical Designer* to provide electrical design support for custom industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will develop production-ready electrical documentation, control panel designs, and machine electrical systems while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical. * Create and maintain electrical Bills of Materials (BOMs). * Select appropriate electrical hardware and components for machine designs. * Update legacy electrical documentation and implement engineering changes. * Design PLC I/O layouts, VFD systems, servo systems, and machine safety circuits. * Support compliance with UL508A and NFPA 79 standards. * Collaborate with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing throughout project execution. * Maintain organized engineering documentation and PDM/PLM records. * Support multiple concurrent machine design projects. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience. * Proficiency in *AutoCAD Electrical*. * Experience designing industrial machine control systems. * Strong knowledge of PLC I/O, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits. * Experience creating electrical schemati…
