Electrical Engineer

The Role Electrical Engineer – Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer from an industrial construction background to join their team in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES • Overseeing the electrical engineering design works for large-scale industrial buildings and power plant construction • Reviewing and advising on technical specifications of the electrical equipment, and ensuring the constructability of design packages • Coordinating with the construction teams • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets • Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and regulations Requirements PROFILE • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering • At least 12 years of experience in similar roles on industrial or power construction projects • Experienced in the design of electrical equipment for large-scale building complexes • Strong familiarity with electrical safety codes and regulations in the GCC region • Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office • Excellent communication skills in English • First preference will be given to candidates currently in Qatar About the company Linum Consult is a niche global consultancy specialising in international recruitment of white collar workers across the …
