Key Responsibilities: The Electrical and Instrumentation / Automation and Control Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, development, programming, installation, and maintenance of all electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems within the gas separation plant. This role ensures the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all automated processes, including remote data acquisition and monitoring via telemetry. Configure and troubleshoot PLC, logic. Specify, select, and procure all field instrumentation and sensors (e.g., pressure, temperature, level, flow, gas analyzers) for the plant processes. Manage the installation, calibration, and maintenance programs for all critical instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance. Troubleshoot instrument loops and control valves from the field element up to the control system interface. Design and maintain telemetry and remote communication systems to allow for the remote monitoring and control of separated gas parameters, pipeline pressures, and flow rates. Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts for control systems Provide expert technical support for troubleshooting system malfunctions, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to minimize plant downtime.
