## Job Description: Facility Electrician **Job Title:** Facility Electrician **Department:** Facilities/Operations **Reports To:** Facilities Manager or Building Operations Manager **Work Location:** Commercial facility occupied by software and technology companies ### Job Summary The Facility Electrician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of the facility’s electrical systems. The role supports multiple software companies and office occupants by ensuring uninterrupted power supply, proper lighting, electrical safety, and the smooth operation of building systems and equipment. The electrician will respond to electrical faults, perform preventive maintenance, support office fit-outs and renovations, and coordinate with contractors and tenants while complying with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures. ### Key Responsibilities - Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair: - Building electrical distribution systems - Lighting and emergency lighting systems - Power outlets, switches, and circuit breakers - Electrical panels, transformers, and generators - Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems - Automatic transfer switches and backup power equipment - HVAC, pumps, elevators, and other electrically operated equipment - Fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltag…
