## Job Description: HVAC Technician **Job Title:** HVAC Technician **Department:** Facilities/Operations **Reports To:** Facilities Manager or Building Operations Manager **Work Location:** Commercial facility occupied by software and technology companies ### Job Summary The HVAC Technician is responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems throughout the facility. The role ensures a comfortable, healthy, and reliable indoor environment for software companies, employees, visitors, and building occupants. The technician supports office areas, meeting rooms, server and network rooms, common areas, and critical facility spaces while maintaining proper temperature, humidity, ventilation, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency. ### Key Responsibilities - Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including: - Air-conditioning units and split systems - Central chilled-water systems and chillers - Air-handling units (AHUs) - Fan-coil units (FCUs) - Variable air-volume (VAV) systems - Cooling towers and condenser-water systems - Pumps, fans, compressors, and ventilation equipment - Heating systems, boilers, and heat pumps - Exhaust and fresh-air systems - Computer-room air-conditioning (CRAC) or precision cooling units - Monitor and adjust temperature, humidity, airflow, and ventilati…
