Marine Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of marine electrical systems. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment onboard vessels while maintaining compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and preventive maintenance schedules. *Responsibilities* * Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on marine electrical systems and equipment. * Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vessels and marine machinery. * Maintain and service generators, switchboards, transformers, motors, batteries, chargers, lighting systems, control panels, and electrical distribution systems. * Inspect, test, and maintain shore power systems and associated electrical infrastructure. * Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules. * Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. * Prepare and maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation. * Monitor the performance of electrical systems and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. * Coordinate electrical maintenance activities during vessel servicing and dry docking. * Ensure th…
