Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented *Mechanical Draftsman* to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical and fabrication drawings, production drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed shop drawings for steel fabrication projects. The role requires close coordination with Design Engineers, Production, Quality, and Project teams to ensure drawings are technically accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with project specifications. The successful candidate should have strong expertise in drafting software, steel fabrication detailing, and engineering documentation. Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Drafting & Design * Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, assembly drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings. * Develop accurate manufacturing and production drawings based on engineering designs and customer specifications. * Prepare detailed component drawings with dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and fabrication requirements. * Modify and revise existing drawings based on engineering changes and project requirements. * Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and company drafting practices.
