MEP (Electrical) Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities * Plan, execute, and supervise all electrical works from project initiation to completion. * Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other MEP disciplines. * Supervise installation of: * Power Distribution Systems * Lighting Systems * Cable Tray & Trunking * Earthing & Lightning Protection * Low Voltage (LV) Systems * ELV Systems * Fire Alarm Systems * Emergency Lighting Systems * Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, QA/QC standards, and HSE requirements. * Prepare Method Statements, MIRs, IRs, and project documentation. * Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. * Coordinate procurement, material inspections, and site deliveries. * Manage testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final project handover. * Ensure compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Civil Defence regulations. * Attend client, consultant, and project coordination meetings.
