*Job Responsibilities* 1. Supervising and coordinating the work of the MEP department staff, including technicians, engineers, and maintenance workers. 2. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for all MEP systems, equipment and devices to ensure their proper functioning and longevity. 3. Devising & implementing processes for daily/weekly/monthly inspections and pre-emptive maintenance. 4. Managing the department budget, and monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effective operations. 5. Collaborating with other departments, such as Mall operations, to ensure the seamless operation of all building systems. 6. Identifying and implementing energy-efficient upgrades to MEP systems to reduce costs and improve sustainability. 7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes related to MEP systems, including fire safety regulations and building codes. 8. Responding to emergencies and troubleshooting issues with MEP systems to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of mall patrons and employees. 9. Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services. 10. Identifying the need of technical training, collaborating with HR to provide training and development opportunities for department staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. 11.
