Quality ownership across projects Plan and execute testing for multiple services and applications in the codebase. Understand system architecture and data flows to design effective test coverage. Test planning & execution Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites for new and existing features. Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and data-validation testing. Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear steps, logs, and impact assessment. Automation & tooling (as applicable) Contribute to or maintain automated test suites (API, backend, UI where relevant). Collaborate with developers to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Proactively suggest tools and practices to improve test efficiency and reliability. Documentation & workflows Write clear technical documentation for testing strategy, quality processes, and release criteria. Create and maintain workflow diagrams and process flows (e.g. for data pipelines, integrations, and user flows). Document test environments, data requirements, edge cases, and known limitations. Collaboration & communication Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
