The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining automated testing infrastructures that ensure our product ships reliably and at speed. This role will test strategy, build scalable automation frameworks, and work closely with engineering and products. The ideal candidate is highly technical, process-driven, and passionate about owning the automation suite, with attention to detail and advocacy for quality. Responsibilities * Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios. * Build and evolve test automation frameworks aligned to our tech stack. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable releases. * Identify, document, and triage bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence. * Set up and maintain test environments and realistic test data. * Write and maintain API-level automated tests independent of the UI. * Contribute to performance and load testing to catch scalability issues early. * Investigate and resolve flaky tests to keep the automation suite trustworthy. * Track and report on test coverage, defect leakage, and automation ROI. * Collaborate with developers on testability and clean architecture, and with product on acceptance criteria and edge cases. * Evaluate and introduce new testing tools as the team and product scale.
