Design and implement secure, consistent RESTful APIs behind Spring Cloud Gateway, and establish fleet-wide API standards: error envelopes, versioning, pagination, and tenancy conventions that every service follows. Own and evolve our shared platform library consumed by every microservice, authentication filters, HTTP clients, Redis and SQS utilities with disciplined semantic versioning, backward compatibility, and a safe publishing pipeline. Harden authentication and authorization across the platform: JWT validation and lifecycle, Spring Security method-level authorization, service-to-service trust, and strict multi-tenant isolation for PHI. Build and operate event-driven workflows on AWS, getting the hard parts right: idempotency, deduplication, retry semantics, and failure visibility.
